Besides the music, I had deep impression in the performers; every performers in the concert had much passion when they were performing. In my opinion, because of their wonderful performance, I could hear such nice music. Also, everyone in the concert was polite. Every times when conductor came to the stage or the song was end, almost every audience stood up and applauded to the performers, the applause lasted for a pretty long time. At that time, I felt so good. All in all, I really enjoyed this concert. The tone color of most of the jazz bands that I saw was smooth and inviting. This made the bands easier to listen to. They were polyphonic in structure, where all of the different instruments were playing different melodies. The rhythm that was used was in a quadruple meter. This was true for all of the bands. The only thing that I wished would have happened was that there would have been more improvisation instead of reading from sheet music. They were very structured in that way. It is in fact quite simple and practical to use, but beware of employing one when a comma will do just as well, as in the following examples, each followed by a discussion and a revision. 1. Proponents argue that the surge in foreign demand for US exports will strengthen the value of the dollar; in turn, a strong dollar would increase the demand for imported goods; therefore, the net effect on trade is neutral. Using two or more semicolons in one sentence to divide independent clauses (in a role sometimes called the weak period) is an error. By choosing a major and planning a course of study advocates careful plan ning so that courses can be related rather than remaining as isolated islands of academic experience. As far back as history records, it is almost impossible to not find agriculture during any era. Agriculture was found in dates during the biblical times and on through today’s society. With technology and advancements, all agriculture has evolved tremendously over time, especially due to many circumstances. The Civil War was a period of time when agriculture was impacted in more ways than one; good and bad. Agriculture was present before, harmed during, and pulled through after the Civil War. The two regions involved in the Civil War, otherwise known as the North and the South, were different in aspects further than economic circumstances. The North had better land for small farmsteads compared to large plantations available in the South. The North also advanced more towards urban and industrial life as opposed to the rich passion for farming and production that took place heavily in the South. The South had soil that was fertile for crop production and a climate that m ade the area rich for farming. Southerners made their profit almost solely on the means of agriculture that they participated in. There were few large urban areas located in this region, expect the large towns that were near water sources and used for trade with other countries.
